[This is actually his first time using a tablet - his laptop works for him just fine. But it's enough like his fancy phone, the one that Natasha made him get. The one that she spent hours trying to show him all the bells and whistles and apps before he finally told her that he just needed it to make phone calls.

He wishes this thing made phone calls. But it does bring up a video feed that he hopes others can see. So have a blond man with broad shoulders and a steady blue gaze.

This is Captain Steve Rogers. I'm not sure if anyone outside is receiving this, but I kind of doubt it. If anyone inside the hotel can see it, please respond with your name and location, as well as your status. If you need help, just say so and I'll come to you.

I'm not sure what's going on yet, and I doubt any of us do, but I do know that panicking won't help anyone. Let's work together, and not turn on each other. We might be here for awhile.

[Because there were no doors in the lobby, and Steve couldn't make a door. He ends the feed, but comes back a second later.]

Also, they're serving breakfast downstairs. Take the stairs, and maybe use a little caution in what you eat and how much. If you start feeling any ill effects, let the rest of us know.

But still, try to eat something. There's a reason they call it the most important meal of the day.

Derek Hale. 117.

[ Sending this message implies he's alive. That gets status out of the way. ]

Who's serving breakfast?

[ So, the staff isn't out. ]

Just trapping us all inside.

Which doors? What have you tried?

There's space where the front doors should be.

[ But, that's it. ]

It's unbreakable, possibly bullet proof.

Designed to keep complete strangers inside. Like some kind of experiment.

I have a gun. No bullets.

Unloaded.

And it was inside my suitcase, which only opened with a combination I knew inherently. It was a date.

It happened to a friend of mine, too. Is that how your suitcase opened?
engender: (tracks primally)

Either they did research or they saw it inside us. Inside out memories.

It's possible. But there needs to be a physical connection.

No. Not if we're all supernatural.

Enhanced, but not human. All my life. Powers here have been dulled down.
