( lydia only manages to keep a facade of calm for all of about fifteen seconds. she's basically got facetime opened to conference-call mode, because she figures that's the easiest way to address the network at large. allison has had issues with her own ghosts, as has thomas, as have others - so she's going to go right ahead and skip past the questions about what is happening, how can this be, etcetera. she wants deeper details than that. she swallows, and looks nervously around herself before she finally addresses the network at large. )
How many -- how many of them do you see? How many faces...
( her eyes focus on something obviously across the room, beyond the tablet. she's still looking at it, technically, but her gaze is pinpointed elsewhere. )
-- Please, stop.
( she squeezes her eyes closed and tries to regain her composure as she speaks to the other tenants of the hotel again. )
Does anyone else have multiples? I have -- a few. And I was just -- wondering, if... Anyone else had... ( she starts to trail off, and her eyes open again slowly, and her head turns to the side... ) The same...
( then she stops. it's not clear what, exactly, she sees. but it triggers something in her. she seems possessed, almost, and as her mouth opens the tablet falls back on the mattress and pans to the ceiling. lydia lets out a supernaturally deafening scream. due to the hotel's limitations, it may not reach for miles as it had before... but being that they're all in the same building, it would be difficult not to hear. even those not watching the video feed on the network would be able to hear. )
