[ It sounds a little silly, like dreamcatchers, or when her step-dad gave her a teddy bear when she was little that he claimed would protect her from all the bad things (which, obviously, it didn't). Not to mention the sleeping curse bit. But she's mostly been embracing the whole other worlds/magic/aliens thing, so she's not willing to disbelieve it all together.
