[ the feed comes on, revealing a very chilly Cashmere. Her nose is looking a little red, and she's trying very hard to act like the cold doesn't bother her. despite the smile plastered on her face, she's betrayed by her shivering and occasional sniffling. Cashmere is reluctantly wearing the cashmere (ha ha) sweater from her suitcase, though she's dropped her blanket cocoon for the purpose of this video. She's incredibly at-ease in front of a camera, and it shows. ]

Please tell me that someone has hot water. I'm willing to make a deal. [ she winks. take that as you will. ]

Also - has someone been in my room? I've left it a little disorganized [ trashed, whatever ] a few times and whenever I come back, everything's been put away. I wish I could say I appreciate it, but... [ it's freaking her out and she's trying to be nice by not telling the offender that she would rather smack herself than thank them. ] Maybe you can bring me another blanket if you're going to be stopping by?

He's not here. [ that bothers her, which is obvious even if she's still trying to smile. they're not usually separated. it feels weird to be anywhere without him. ] I'm sure he's fine. He's not the one trapped in a weird hotel.

( he can't quite tell who this Gloss fellow is to her, just that being separated from him troubles her. he's experienced that a time or two in his life, but the good news is he's still alive out there.

which means she can get back to him one day. )

[ as lonely as she is without her other half, there's a small benefit in not having him with her. it means he could be safe at home. Johanna told her she didn't need to worry about Gloss. so she's trying to not worry. ]

He's going to think I finally went crazy. [ imagining that gets a small smile out of her. ] Or that I met a bunch of crazy people who say they never heard of Panem. That's what's crazy.

There's nothing outside of Panem. Not anymore. Not for a long time. That's what we're told, anyway. Out of everything, I thought that would be the one thing that was true.

[ she saw the ocean one time, okay? there was nothing out there. ]

There are many worlds, and they rarely think outside of themselves. Might be you were told what they wanted you to think.
