( attached is a photo of these flowers, in a nicely arranged bouquet. those from her world will recognize it instantly as acontium - wolfsbane. she thinks it's some kind of prank, blames it mostly on the nogitsune, and plans to get to the bottom of it as soon as she can. but for now, she's a little freaked out and more than a little annoyed. )

it's actually pretty common in some areas of the united states, but people just assume it's a form of blossoming weed or another. and no one believes the legends surrounding it anyway.

which begs the question: how? how can one entity watch this many people all at once? and given some of the conversations i've had, from different universes. weird as that is to wrap my head around.

Or it is, but not one individual. More like an organization sending out agents.

I think anyone who can afford to pass out thirty plus tablets isn't putting off renovations due to budget cuts.

those could just as easily have been donations as an out of pocket expense... i the real problem here is that there are too many variables in the equation and not nearly enough factors to get us started toward solving it. who's behind it, what do they want, where do all of the things that *aren't* a dilapidated building come from, and so on.

We've got way more questions than answers, I'll give you that.
So let's focus on the ones we can answer. Take what we know, and focus on a few questions at a time. It might be our best bet.

if I had to guess with a gun to my head, I'd say maybe the invisible maids?
I never saw anyone stop by, they weren't there one minute and they were the next, I don't know where else they coulda come from

what is this, the princess diaries 2? the maids know everything? i don't believe that they're that intuitive, not for a second, especially since we've never seen them. even spooky non-entity maids are still just maids. they're like pawns. who's moving the pieces?
