who left these in my room?
( attached is a photo of these flowers, in a nicely arranged bouquet. those from her world will recognize it instantly as acontium - wolfsbane. she thinks it's some kind of prank, blames it mostly on the nogitsune, and plans to get to the bottom of it as soon as she can. but for now, she's a little freaked out and more than a little annoyed. )

Let me know if they fade away. It could be an illusion. Have your wolves sniff around some. See if someone here or the hotel itself is hiding a secret garden.
Was there anything other than that included?

no, nothing. just the flowers.
and they're not *my wolves*. they're people. you talk about them like they're pets.

Odd. Those also mean 'misanthropy' in the language of flowers. I wonder if it is meant as a veiled threat, a stab at what they are or that.
If you want to be literal, you're the pet, not them. Sort of like one of those yappy little dogs that gets dressed up and nails done.

Lydia, really, do you expect me to believe that if I were somehow kinder that all things would be forgiven and we would all be friends? I have to say I doubt that.
