[Merlin is going to forgo the camera option on the tablet, and the voice option. Why would he use those when there's a perfectly good text function that could be used that doesn't quite hide his identity, but at least people wouldn't be quick to put a face to the name.]

10-97 code no 1. 10-56 kitchen. 10-65. These things seem to work a treat but that's probably about all I can say about things working in this place. Not even the windows like to open, which I believe would be a problem further down the line should this place decide to get warmer. No staff and no way out, and I believe these are all things mentioned previously by others, and I doubt I would need to go through the same initiation rites as others may have. It's pretty obvious that if something can bring us here then they can work at keeping us here. I have bad news for them, and that it's people tend to work harder when they're stressed and this place is primed for just that. Hopefully no-one feels the need to die during our journey to find a way out. I wouldn't want to be cleaning that up. You can all keep the urge to murder your fellow inmates to yourself, we wouldn't want anything untoward happening and that would be counter-productive to the task at hand.

Should anyone feel the need to reply to this, then I want the details of what has been attempted so far and the results so I can go over them before looking further into this. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated in times such as this.

Oh, really? Because I am enjoying the accommodations.

There aren't many options as far as escape attempts go. We have to figure out who's behind this place, first. Which is already problem number one. We're not all from around here. Definitely not all buddy-buddy, either.

That doesn't mean everyone else has to.

There may not be options, but details on any previous attempts would be useful. If the people who own this place haven't shown up yet then we're not going to know about them until they decide it's necessary. That could be anytime between now and the end of time. And no-one needs to sit holding hands in a circle to take part in simple teamwork.

I know we've all tried the doors, tried breaking the windows, tried finding the room we showed up in. No good.

Not that I'm unwilling to help, but our options are pretty limited. There's the wall in the courtyard. Someone may have tried to scale it. But otherwise, your guess is as good as mine.

Doors, windows and the previous room all sound like staples by this point.

They sound limited, but there will be something that gives. If there's a way in, then there's a way out. It'll just be in a different place than the one we came in through.

Something will give, but patience is something a lot of people here don't seem to have.

This place, we think, is mimicking technologies and tactics from our own worlds. There are some folks who have collected information, but how reliable it is, well. I'd say everyone's a little on the nutty side right now, but whatever you want to believe, not like I can stop you.
