[ the feed comes on, revealing a very chilly Cashmere. Her nose is looking a little red, and she's trying very hard to act like the cold doesn't bother her. despite the smile plastered on her face, she's betrayed by her shivering and occasional sniffling. Cashmere is reluctantly wearing the cashmere (ha ha) sweater from her suitcase, though she's dropped her blanket cocoon for the purpose of this video. She's incredibly at-ease in front of a camera, and it shows. ]

Please tell me that someone has hot water. I'm willing to make a deal. [ she winks. take that as you will. ]

Also - has someone been in my room? I've left it a little disorganized [ trashed, whatever ] a few times and whenever I come back, everything's been put away. I wish I could say I appreciate it, but... [ it's freaking her out and she's trying to be nice by not telling the offender that she would rather smack herself than thank them. ] Maybe you can bring me another blanket if you're going to be stopping by?

[ Guess who's not dropping the blanket cocoon for video purposes? Who, in fact, appears to have taken her tablet underneath the covers with her? Worrying about appearances is for people who aren't currently convinced they've never been this cold in their lives, clearly. ]

Yeah. If I rip all the covers off the bed, or leave my clothes on the floor - remember how my room was when you came by? I left it like that. When I came back it was like I hadn't touched it.

[ blanket cocoon is the way to go but Cashmere refuses to let whoever is responsible for the cold have the satisfaction of getting the best of her. classic Cash stubbornness. ]

[Unlike everyone else, it seems, Tauriel doesn't appear affected at all by the cold. The only different thing about her appearance is her hair; where once it was hanging down to her waist in long, red-gold strands, now it is cropped close to her skull, curling about her ears. To anyone who had seen her before, it's shocking.

To anyone else, she appears completely oblivious to the drop in temperature.] If you require extra blankets, you may have mine.

[ Tauriel is a new face to Cashmere, and she brightens a bit at her offer. ] Really? You don't need the blankets? [ because it is super cold. though Tauriel looks like she's completely unaware of the temperature drop. ] What do you want in exchange?

Yeah. Every time it's messy and I leave the room for a while I come back and the bed is made, and my clothes are put away, everything's just like it was when I got here. They never leave anything and they never take anything. They just clean it. [ which is admittedly a nice thing to do but considering there are no employees? she's not taking it as kind gesture. ]

Anything that's on the floor is not on the floor when I come back. I pulled the mattress off the bed looking for bugs and just left it. It was back together when I came back.

I don't have any hot water but I know other ways to warm up.

I'd feel better about it if I knew who. I haven't seen staff anywhere. It's like how all that food just appears at breakfast.

There was a time Clara might have flirted, before Danny, before a lot of things. And that wink would have been all the encouragement she needed. She doesn't feel much like flirting, now. For one, it's bloody cold. A lot like Christmas, Trenzalore. It had to have been at least as cold then, and she hadn't actually been wearing any clothes. She makes a face remembering it, scrunching up her nose a bit.]

Hotel thing? [Sounds reasonable. There are worse things than invisible maids, but she does wish she could catch them at it just once. Then maybe they could find out what's going on here.] Tryin' not to think about it.

[ yeah, that's probably not the only raised eyebrow she's going to get. she knows how to get what she wants. this is just one of those ways. ]
