I've seen her a few times. The first day, I thought that I'd made her afraid.

( But then he'd tried offering her pastry, and telling a story, and that hadn't worked, either. Björn is a big guy, but this has unnerved him, too. )

She likes the big room called the lobby, so far as I've seen. I'd like to know where her parents are.

( Because while there's a possiblity that she's a spirit, it's not one he immediately wants to jump to. Spirits don't belong in Midgard. )

[Helen has seen the girl, has in fact gotten close enough to realize she's...rather transparent. She doesn't know if she believes in ghosts, the ones who haunt in a physical sense at least. But evidence suggests she isn't exactly like the rest of them.]
